PIR (Physiologic Insulin Resensitization) is a treatment addressing insulin resistance by utilizing insulin as a hormone, rather than a medication.  Employing a patented dosing pattern, insulin is administered intravenously through an FDA-approved portable pump that resembles the body's natural processes to aid in reducing insulin resistance and restoring the body's equilibrium.  Each treatment lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours.
